At Together International Support Foundation (TISF), we understand the challenges newcomers face in securing employment. Finding a job in a new country involves navigating unfamiliar hiring practices, cultural differences, and language barriers. Our Employment Assistance program is here to bridge these gaps, helping newcomers acquire new skills, get accredited trainings, receive required skills and knowledge to enter in to a job market. You can learn about building a sustainable, rewarding careers in Canada. We offer professional training courses, hubs, teenage clubs, personalized support, resources, and connections to help succeed in the workforce and achieve financial stability and independence.

Resume Writing Support:

We assist newcomers in crafting professional, tailored resumes that reflect their unique skills and experience, formatted to meet Canadian hiring standards.

Our team works closely with individuals to highlight transferable skills and maximize their employment potential.

 

Connections with Local Small Businesses:

Our foundation builds partnerships with local SMEs in constructions sector, as well as other employers who are eager to welcome and support new talent.

By connecting job seekers with these businesses, we provide valuable networking opportunities and potential job placements within the community.

 

Recruitment Agency Connections:

We collaborate with reputable recruitment agencies experienced in working with newcomers and immigrants. Through these partnerships, we connect job seekers with job openings that match their skills, experience, and career aspirations.

 

Interview Preparation and Job Search Guidance:

TISF offers one-on-one coaching for interview preparation, providing tips on commonly asked questions, Canadian workplace expectations, and effective communication.

 

We also offer guidance on job search strategies, helping newcomers locate job boards, networking events, and career fairs relevant to their interests.

 

Skills and Training Resources:

We have developed a unique accelerated skills and training programs, including skilled trades, red seal programs, apprenticeship programs, certification opportunities, and other resources to help newcomers acquire skills that increase employability and confidence. We help newcomers and refugees to overcome barriers to employment, provide guidance and support in credential recognition.
